小道消息謂，其實港鐵和巴士公司才是佔中幕後黑手。佔中其間港鐵照常運作，大賺示威者的錢不用說，連警方都要徵用港鐵列車，兩面獲利的做法明顯是向外國軍火商偷師。巴士公司則來一次重整路線大示範，還故意在道路開通後空車盡出。此著迫使各區議會及地區人仕正視路線重覆的惡果，巴士公司止蝕終於有望。
